Weigh-In Wednesday - 1/15/2014

It's another Weigh-In Wednesday!


...and I'm down another 1.4 lbs. I am still chuggin' along in the 21-day FullyRaw Challenge, as well as following Well-Girl's December 2013 Shoulder & Arm Challenge (yes, I know it's january!) and Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans' Squat and Push-up 31-day Bootcamp, though I am on day 8 today - a week behind, remember? ;)

More exciting news! I decided to begin Couch-to-5k this week! Yesterday was Week 1, Day 1 and I have to say, I was super impressed with myself for completing it. About halfway through I thought to myself that the old me TOTALLY would've given up about that time. Since I've almost always been overweight, I never thought in a million years I would be a runner, but as I'm growing into my new self, I'm realizing that I think I might actually REALLY enjoy running! I don't really have any specific goal to run in a 5k, but just to be able to run for cardio. Plus...being outside, connecting with nature, all that hippie stuff that runners say about getting high on endorphins...really appealing to me these days!

PS: I will not be donating any money to Forgotten Dogs of the 5th Ward Project this month. I am going to hold off until I get back to that 51.2 mark and then I will pick it up again. (which means I am ONLY 4.6 pounds away from being able to give again!)
